My background is described in detail in the attached marketing brochure. In summary, I began this practice in February 2001 after having been the General Counsel of a $350 million manufacturing and distribution company with world wide operations. Prior to practicing law, I obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration and worked for Ford Motor Company in Michigan in a manufacturing plant in production control and as a cost accountant. Prior to graduating college in 1979, I worked in a slaughterhouse. All of these experiences provided a foundation for a solid work ethic and the ability to dig into the facts and legal issues. The above background has been invaluable as many of my clients either manufacture/cast products or service industrial companies. |
I first worked with Marty ten years ago when I was a partner at a major City of London firm and he was General Counsel at Morris Mechanical Handling. I was impressed with the speed of Marty’s truly remarkable grasp of complex English legal principles and enjoyed working with him: his sense of humour never deserted him. I have valued his friendship since then. Mr. Quentin Solt Marty has an in-house counsel's perspective, which we find very useful in dealing with a business's legal issues.
